Conor McGregor has come out in support of Turki Alalshikh’s latest move.
Over the past year, Alalshikh has put on events at some of the world’s most iconic locations, including Times Square and the Pyramids of Giza.
This time, his focus isn’t on a venue. He wants to bring together boxing’s top promoters, and he may have the power to make it happen. The Chairman of Saudi Arabia’s General Entertainment Authority shared his idea for a summit in Riyadh:
McGregor wasted no time showing his support. “I’m all for this!” he replied. The summit could help resolve conflicts between promoters that have slowed down major fights over the years.
Pundits and fans alike have spoken positively about what Saudi Arabia is bringing to the sport. Boxing legend Frank Warren also believes it was necessary.

Turki Alalshikh looks to settle growing tensions
Dana White and Eddie Hearn, once close, have been publicly feuding throughout 2026. Their dispute escalated in February when Zuffa Boxing signed Conor Benn away from Hearn’s roster.
In response, the Matchroom Sports Chairman struck a management deal with UFC heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall.
Recently, the two have also been clashing over who will promote Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua. The UFC CEO has hinted repeatedly that he’ll be in charge, but Hearn insists that contractually, it’s not possible.
White stirred things up even more by taking Tyson Fury to the White House for UFC Freedom 250 last weekend.
Alalshikh’s statement was shared by Ring Magazine on Friday: “I’ll do my best to do a meeting soon between my brothers Dana White, Nick Khan, Frank Warren, Eddie Hearn & my partners & friends DAZN to make peace, and revolution for boxing.”
“I hope I succeed & boxing fans see the white smoke rise from the chimney. I want to do it before losing my memory. I’m afraid in 2028 or 2029 I’ll forget my name.”
Fans react to Turki Alalshikh’s peace plan
Conor McGregor might have shown his support for Turki Alalshikh, but the reaction among fans was a lot more mixed.
Many in the comment section pointed fingers at Alalshikh, suggesting he played a major role in fueling the very conflict he’s now trying to resolve.
“That’s like somebody offering to put out a fire that they started,” one fan said. While another asked: “Isn’t he the cause of most of the arguing?:
A third added: “Should never have brought Dana White and Nick Khan into our sport, big bro.”
