Continuous heavy rain for the first two weeks of May in KL and Selangor

SHAH ALAM - Heavy downpours are expected to continue into the first two weeks of May in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor, the Weather Radar application indicates.

Thunderstorms and heavy rain are expected to take place during the afternoons and likely to last until 7pm.

However, weather conditions can be expected to improve during the Karnival Pendidkan which will be held from May 10 to 12 at the Karangkraf headquaters.

The Weather Radar application shows light rain showers during these three days.

The temperature for the first two weeks in May are likely to remain between from 34 degrees celsius and 35°C.

The Sinar Bestari Karnival Pendidikan in collaboration with the Selangor State Education Department (JPNS) will be featuring a variety of interesting activities from May 10 to 12 at the Karangkraf headquaters.

Moving on, in a statement today, the Health Ministry reminds the public to be aware of the hot weather during the festive season.

Its Director-General Datuk Dr Muhammad Radzi Abu Hassan urged the public to take preventive measures on health issues that may occur.
