Converge earns P3B income in Jan-March

CONVERGE ICT Solutions, Inc. reported a net income of P3.02 billion in the first quarter of 2026, virtually unchanged from P3.019 billion last year.

Nonetheless, Converge CEO and co-founder Dennis Anthony Uy expressed optimism as the company surpassed more than 3 million subscribers.

“We celebrate this milestone of breaching the 3-million subscriber mark with our customers,” he said.

“This demonstrates our commitment to provide world-class connectivity to the broadest number of our people, especially those in the unserved and underserved communities,” Uy added.

Revenues also rose to P11.192 billion from 10.796 billion, due to the growth of its businesses despite the current economic environment.

Residential business revenues grew to P9.233 billion with total subscribers reaching 3,089,144 at the end of March.

Meanwhile, revenues in its enterprise business grew to P1.959 billion from P1.687 billion as the small and medium enterprise (SME) subsegment emerged with double-digit revenue growth of 17 percent driven by the expansion of its customer base.

The company said total cash capital expenditures amounted to P2.9 billion, which was used to grow its fiber network and improve overall services.

The company has grown its data center footprint with the addition of two facilities: the Caloocan Data Center and its newly inaugurated Angeles Data Center.

Converge’s share price fell by P1.38 to close at P11 apiece on Wednesday.
