Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper is happy to have reached two years in charge.

Cooper will mark the anniversary by taking Forest to Manchester City on Saturday.

He said, "I feel exactly the same today as my I did on my first day - I am thinking about how we can get better and improve.

"Over two years my fondness and feeling for the club and the city has grown, of course, and I hope that will continue.

"But with the success we have had, the responsibility gets bigger.

"The desire to improve increases and that's where my mentality is.

"My intention from day one was to work hard and to try to improve. All that feeling increases over time. But I am only looking forward, I'm not one for looking back.

"It is a job I love in a city I enjoy being part of. My responsibility is to do the best job I can for the football club. The only thing in my mind now is the toughest game in world football - Manchester City away."
