Nottingham Forest boss Steve Cooper was pleased after their 0-0 draw at Brighton on Tuesday night.
The result sees Forest move ahead of bottom placed Leicester City on the table.
Cooper said, "We need to focus on the positives, Brighton are a good team that have been built over the years and that showed tonight.
"It's a good point and a clean sheet away from home. If we had a few more points on the board it would be even better.
"To be on the road we're on, to show fight and passion to the game plan is the main thing. They weren't kicking their teeth out there over last week's result. This is a confident group tying to get better.
"It's progress. If we take the game in isolation then we have to be happy with a point. We have to take this positive through to Liverpool now.
"If we had more points on the board then it would be a great point but this is probably just a good point."
