Coronation Street’s Tracy Shaw shares positive update after cancer diagnosis

Coronation Street star Tracy Shaw has shared a positive update with fans as she continues treatment for breast cancer.

The 53-year-old, who played Maxine Peacock in the ITV soap, announced her diagnosis in April. She has posted regular updates regarding her treatment on her Instagram page.

In a video posted on her social media on Saturday (17 October), Shaw announced that she has had tumours removed and “everything went really well,” thanking hospital staff who treated her.

“Feeling blessed,” she wrote.
