LABOR groups called on the Supreme Court on Wednesday to issue a final ruling on the disputes over the National Capital Region Wage Order 27.
The groups said that workers have already lost more than P1.7 billion in potential wages since the P60 daily increase was stalled a month ago.
The Federation of Free Workers (FFW) and Nagkaisa Labor Coalition urged the high court to provide authoritative guidance on whether regular courts, like the regional trial court, may intervene in disputes involving the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards and National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC).
