Covid-19, 332 new cases, one death recorded

SHAH ALAM - As of this morning, Malaysia has recorded 332 new Covid-19 cases with one imported case.

The Health Ministry through the KKMNow portal recorded one death bringing the total to 38,540 deaths since the pandemic started.

The current active Covid-19 cases recorded were 11,793 cases with 94.4 per cent or 11,109 individuals under home quarantine.

622 individuals were treated in the hospital with 32 admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) while 20 patients required ventilator support.

The usage of health facilities as of Tuesday were 72.3 per cent of hospital beds, ICU beds (66.5 per cent) and ventilator supports (38.5 per cent).

The total recoveries from Covid-19 were 376 cases bringing the total to 4,979,168.
