Covid-19: 4,831 new cases, 10 deaths

SHAH ALAM – Malaysia records 4,831 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative number of cases to 4,724,225 since the pandemic began.

From the 4,831 cases, six were imported.

Aside from that, 10 deaths were reported with two brought-in-dead (BID), which brought the number of death due to the pandemic to 36,066.

Currently, there were 46,081 active cases with 96.44 per cent or 44,404 individuals quarantined at home.

Aside from that, there were 1,584 hospitalised patients, with 20 in the intensive care unit (ICU) and 40 required ventilation support.
