Covid-19: 429 new cases, no deaths recorded

SHAH ALAM - Malaysia records 429 Covid-19 cases on Wednesday with four imported cases.

According to the Health Ministry's CovidNow portal, no deaths were recorded.

The total death cases remained at 36,859.

Meanwhile, the number of active cases stood at 11,696 with 11,084 or 94.8 per cent of patients undergoing home quarantine.

A total of 581 patients were still receiving treatment at hospitals while 31 patients were in the intensive care unit (ICU) and 21 required ventilator support.

The number of recoveries recorded on Wednesday were 500 bringing the total of recoveries to 4,979,668.
