Covid-19: Malaysia facing second wave of Omicron XBB variant

PUTRAJAYA - The Health Ministry has issued a warning on another small wave of the Covid-19 Omicron XBB subvariant in the country.

Its minister Khairy Jamaluddin Abu Bakar said the wave was expected to cause the country to record an increase of Covid-19 cases in the coming weeks.

"Whether it is going to be big (wave), depended on the community's behaviour," he said.
