SHAH ALAM - Malaysia has recorded a total of 607 new Covid-19 cases on Sunday and two are imported cases.
This makes the cumulative number of active cases to 13,997.
According to the KKMNOW portal, from the total, 94.5 per cent or 13,229 patients were undergoing home quarantine while no patients were placed at the Covid-19 Quarantine and Low-Risk Treatment Centre (PKRC)
The data also showed that 725 Covid-19 patients were receiving treatement at the hospital while 43 were in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Meanwhile, a total of 737 recoveries were recorded bringing the cumulative number of recoveries to 4,972,691.
Meanwhile, there were no deaths recorded and the death toll stood at 36,831 since the pandemic began.
