
LAHAD DATU: Marine police have uncovered a crude palm oil (CPO) misappropriation syndicate worth RM2.29 million after raiding an illegal storage facility at Batu 15 along Jalan Lahad Datu-Sandakan.
Sabah Region Four Marine Police Commander ACP Mohd Nazri Ibrahim said the raid on July 25 at 12.50pm led to the discovery of 77,590kg of CPO.
Officers also seized two trucks, a van, and an oil storage tank during the operation.
