SANDAKAN: The Sandakan Municipal Council (SMC) has initiated catching stray dogs in the district.
Commending the effort, Karamunting Assemblyman Datuk George Hiew said MPS had sent their staff to capture stray dogs in Kampung Air, Karamunting, here, using a particular trap, on Wednesday.
Hiew had previously highlighted the issue as it needs to be handled immediately to ensure public safety.
