Craig Melvin accidentally reveals Jenna Bush Hager’s “secret” during a live Today broadcast.
On Wednesday (8 April), Melvin and co-host Savannah Guthrie were discussing the upcoming film The Devil Wears Prada 2 when Melvin let slip that Hager would be appearing in the highly anticipated sequel.
“By the way, you know how that movie’s going to be good?” Melvin asked. “You know how I can tell? JBH is in it!”
The camera then cut to a shocked Hager. “I don't know that you were supposed to drop that bomb,” she said.
Melvin quickly apologised, explaining that he thought the cameo was public knowledge. “It is now,” quipped weatherman Al Roker.
