
MANILA, Philippines — The Creamline Cool Smashers are the Premier Volleyball League (PVL) champions for the 11th time.
Creamline completed a sweep of Cignal in the best-of-three championship series of the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference, sealing the title with a thrilling 25–23, 22–25, 25–16, 16–25, 15–11 victory in Game 2 on Thursday night at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City.
In the deciding frame, Cignal held a 9-7 lead as Vanie Gandler and Tin Tiamzon scored consecutive points.
Creamline’s Jema Galanza, however, answered with a crosscourt kill followed by an error by Erika Santos to tie the score at 9-all.
The crowd, bleeding in pink roared loudly as Galanza scored from an off-the-block hit, allowing the Cool Smashers enjoy a one-point lead, 10-9.
The game was tied again as Pangs Panaga committed an attack error, but Tots Carlos slammed a kill that gave the Cool Smashers an 11-10 advantage.
Santos committed an attack error and a block by Carlos on Gandler allowed Creamline to take a 13-10 lead.
Gandler continued to put up the fight after slamming a crosscourt kill but Carlos quickly responded with a kill even as Bea De Leon blocked Gandler shot to finished the match and claim the crown.

This is the first time the Cool Smashers earned a championship after bagging the All-Filipino title in 2024. They failed to win a crown in 2025.
