- A passenger on the cruise ship claimed that Launchpad was closer to the stranded vessel and that passengers booed upon hearing it did not respond.
- A spokesperson for Zuckerberg confirmed that neither the Meta CEO nor his family were on board the 387ft vessel during the incident.
- The spokesperson said that the yacht crew was operating on a different radio channel and that assistance was already underway by the time they noticed the broadcast.
