Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira was frustrated to concede late against Brentford on Tuesday.

Palace went ahead through Wilfried Zaha, but Yoane Wissa's late goal ensured Brentford shared the spoils at Selhurst Park.

Vieira said: "We conceded the goal [at the end]. There's a lot of frustration to concede a goal like that.

"At the end they had two chances to score and we didn't concede. Looking at how the game ended up, I'm happy with the point.

"We didn't create very much. We didn't find space to create those chances and we needed space."

He added: "It wasn't really pretty from our side. We nearly lost the game at the end, so I'm happy with the point. Maybe they deserve it a bit more than us today.

"Today was about trying to win the game and play well, and we didn't do it. We lost a lot of energy against City and it was difficult physically. At the end of the game we looked tired with a lack of energy. It became really difficult for us.

"I think we had a tough pre-season. That's never going to change from us. There are a lot of details we need to improve if we want to win football matches."
