Crystal Palace have opened talks with Sporting CP for Issahaku Fatawu.
The Ghana wing-back isn't in the plans of Sporting coach Ruben Amorim this season and available for transfer.
O Jogo says Palace are in contact with Sporting about a price for Fatawu.
Sporting would prefer a sale, but are willing to consider a loan if a purchase option is included.
For his part, Fatawu would welcome a move to the Premier League.
