CSKA Moscow striker Fedor Chalov has recalled missing out on a move to Crystal Palace.
Chalov admits he remains hopeful of playing in England.
Asked whether he knew why the Palace deal collapsed, Chalov told Sport-Express: "I kind of understand, but I can't tell you. I wanted to play there.
"I don't know those details. Let's do it this way, when such situations happen, you think: they refused the transfer - okay, I haven't changed, I continue to work just as hard. This means that a better offer will come in the next transfer window.
"Everyone has their own opinion. I think that every player dreams of playing in the Premier League. And in any club!"
