Celebration needs no particular occasion to occur,
Celebrating your little wins such as honoring your successes and your gains in work life or even just something personal, could put you in a better position within a glimpse.
Some people often focus on the downside of life and they tend to forget about the bright side. Things like “What’s the point of life, I have no one by my side, I am alone” and “I am so over it! Why am I so slow?” are often the words we say to ourselves, and that makes us forget about our value and often leads us into a darkened cave pouting and slouching on the sofa pondering about the things we don’t have or haven’t accomplish in life, where in reality, maybe we have already come so far from where we’ve been.
But it is the habit of constantly comparing ourselves with other people that makes us feel insecure, undervalued, and in some cases, even unlucky…
May it be the people we see on social media or television, family members such as cousins and siblings who are around our age groups, and friends from high school or college.
And it could also be the unhealthy behaviour of parents that are always upping one another which adds more pressure to an overthinking mind. That would then only make it worse by leaving others feeling unsure of the path taken and feeling incomplete with the accomplished goals.
Nevertheless, what you think of yourself is what matters the most.
We feed ourselves not only by what we eat and drink but also by the atmosphere we set for ourselves to be in by manifesting what we are.
Life won't go forward with you laying in bed all day staring at the walls and ceiling, therefore, live life in the moment, without thinking so much about what others may perceive of you.
Some may call you stupid for not doing well enough academically, but that is the difference we all have. Some people could ace the exams effortlessly, while others are blessed in a different way, perhaps the creative side like singing, acting, writing, decorating, etc.
But whatever that is, be grateful to be given a talent, and appreciate yourself even if you find that nobody notices your growth.
Get out of the house, spend a little money on a small cheap cake, even a cupcake will do, and celebrate. Celebrate your growth, your success, and the milestones you went through. And most importantly, celebrate your life. Because it is yours to own, it doesn’t matter if no one sees your achievement as something to be proud of, what matters is when you look at them with gladness and gratitude.
