Let’s find out what are the most delicious and famous foods in Kuala Terengganu.
1) Keropok Lekor
The unique, traditional and speciality snack of the Terengganu region.
Groundfish such as herring, ikan tamban, ikan kerisi, or ikan selayang are combined with sago flour, and the combination is formed into long, sausage-like shapes which are then boiled for several hours, although these fish sausages can also be fried.
It is traditionally served hot with a spicy chili dipping sauce.

2) Toasted bun with butter and kaya.
This can be found at “新品香茶餐室” one of the Chinese Kopitiam in China Town Kuala Terengganu.
The texture of the buns are so soft and the slice of butter within them is too silky and easily melts once put inside the mouth. Delicious and mouthwatering buns to perfect up your morning.

3) Nasi Dagang
This delicious Nasi Dagang can be found at the local stall of Kak Pah Nasi Dagang, Batu Burok Kuala Terengganu!
I love their food because of the aroma of the rice steamed in coconut milk, the fish just nice to eat, not stinky and the kuah just right to my taste which is not too spicy, plus it adds on an appetizer of cucumber pickles that mixed with reddish carrot and red chilies preserved in vinegar, really make this Nasi Dagang its unique taste of local food that can only be found in Kuala Terengganu.
