As part of the IT Week celebrations, students of classes IX and X at Gurukul World School, Mohali, organised a Cyber Safety Awareness Campaign to promote online safety, responsible digital behaviour and the smart use of technology. Through informative sessions, interactive discussions and role plays, the students educated participants about cyber safety measures, protection from online scams, safe social media practices, password security and the importance of being responsible digital citizens. The campaign aimed to create awareness about the growing challenges of the digital world and encouraged students to use technology wisely and safely. Participants were also informed about their digital rights and responsibilities and motivated to follow ethical practices while using online platforms. Principal Poonamjit Kaur appreciated the efforts of the students and encouraged them to continue spreading awareness about cyber safety and responsible technology use. She urged them to become smart digital citizens and utilise technology in a positive and secure manner.
