Chelsea have made a decision regarding the future of Davide Zappacosta.
The Blues are ready to allow him to return to Italy, even though Reece James is not 100 percent fit.
Zappacosta is being kept as cover for the full back positions.
But the Telegraph indicates that manager Frank Lampard is ready to allow 19-year-old James to become the understudy at right back.
He wants to go back to Italy, while the club can agree a loan or sale with an Italian club until September 2.
It is possible he will remain at the Blues for another couple of weeks before departing near the closing of the European window.
