Jetro Willems has put talks of a permanent switch to Newcastle United on hold.
The wing-back has impressed at St. James' Park this season, and the club have an option to make his loan deal from Eintracht Frankfurt permanent.
But Willems insists he is only focused on performing on the pitch.
He told the Chronicle: "It is not a big deal now. We are in November. It us the 11th game and we have a long time to go and I don't want to think about it It is not my priority. Of course at the end of the season but now I just want to enjoy football and get some wins.
"I saw Newcastle last year. Everyone is watching the Premier League through the world but I knew it wouldn't be the same because they switched the trainer. I was very excited to come."
