Newcastle United have snapped up free agent Stefan O'Connor.
The Evening Chronicle says the Toon have re-signed former Arsenal defender O'Connor.
The 22-year-old centre-back was released in the summer on a free transfer.
But he has now returned to the club on a short-term deal.
O'Connor, who can also play at right-back and in midfield, is currently overcoming an injury.
But Newcastle are looking after him as he tries to get back to full fitness.
