Former Real Madrid GM Jorge Valdano feels Zinedine Zidane's team is getting back to their best.
Real go to Alaves this weekend on the back of their Champions League draw with PSG.
Valdano said, "Real Madrid had not played at this level for quite some time.
"The individual tone of very important players such as (Luka) Modric and (Karim) Benzema and appearances such as Rodrygo, Fede Valverde, etc. has been raised, from the individual performance the team has appeared again.
"They have also raised the physical tone one more stage."
