Watford have secured Portuguese defender Leandro Paiva to a three-year deal.
TMW has confirmed Portuguese reports last week that Watford have snapped up the youngster from Neuchatel Xamax.
The Hornets burned off competition from Fiorentina and Torino to land Paiva.
It was reported in Portugal that Paiva had signed a five-year deal.
The 19 year-old has begun preseason with Watford's senior squad.
