Kota Kinabalu: A teenager was charged in the Magistrate’s Court here with damaging a police car, two months ago.
Mohd Faizul Samsuddin, 19, pleaded not guilty before Magistrate Marilyn Kelvin to committing mischief by breaking the side mirror of the police car, which was driven by Corporal Dolis Rantai, using a metal cutter, which caused a loss of RM2,106.35.

The court set Feb 18 for PTCM and released the accused on a bail of RM1,800 in one surety. Meanwhile, 12 men were jailed for taking syabu.

The 12 were tested positive for the drug through urine tests conducted on them, said the prosecution.

The court also ordered Wajahal, Ali and Yusof to be referred to the Immigration Department, thereafter, as they have no identification document.
They were all charged under Section 15(1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act, which provides for a fine of up to RM5,000 or up to two years’ jail on conviction.
