Dana White has revealed a challenge most fans wouldn’t think of when it comes to hosting outdoor fights.
Tickets for the White House event don’t come cheap, either. If you want to be close to the action instead of watching from a screen, it’ll set you back $1.5 million.
Fans and fighters alike will have to deal with whatever the weather throws at them on June 14.
While White has already spoken about the risks of lightning potentially disrupting the event, that’s not the only thing they need to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.
UFC President Dana White has voiced concerns about how staging the White House card could increase problems with bugs

When Dana White shared the first images of what the UFC’s June 14 event near the White House would look like, he also revealed plans for a unique new structure they’re calling “the claw”.
The UFC president admitted that after seeing the planned site in person, one of his first calls was to the head of production to talk about just how many bugs there were around.
And his concerns have only grown as plans move forward, especially given everything it takes to build out an event on the lawn right next to such an iconic landmark.
“Think about that lighting grid, the claw that we’re going to have. The amount of power and lights. Moths, gnats, and god knows what else. Fighters having to deal with that,” he told Boardroom when discussing this concern.
White pointed out that bugs could easily end up in fighters’ eyes or mouths during bouts and said one potential fix might be adding large fans around the setup to keep them away from equipment and fighters alike.
However, he noted there wasn’t a clear plan in place yet at the time of his interview with Boardroom.
“I don’t know, man. These are all little details we have to think about. That’s why I don’t like fighting outside ever,” he added.
