UFC CEO Dana White is going to great lengths to keep the fight card for UFC White House under wraps.
The fight list is already set, and an official announcement is expected later this week.
Until then, White appears intent on keeping fans in suspense about one of the most anticipated events in recent MMA history.
Dana White removes all trace of UFC White House details

Dana White’s office is full of boards that feature planned fights for upcoming UFC cards. Fans have sometimes managed to spot unannounced matchups on those boards in the past, catching a glimpse before they were made public.
This time around, the UFC president decided to play things differently for the White House event, removing any chance of early leaks.
“I’ll announce the whole card this week,” White told IFL TV. “The card is done. We’ve been so secretive about this. I’ve got boards, which I’m sure you’ve seen, hanging in our War Room. This isn’t even on the boards.”
“We bring in a whiteboard, we write the fights down, and then erase them every time we have a matchmaking meeting.”
“Usually, matchmaking meetings are every Tuesday. They’ve been every day for the past two weeks.”
Who will Headline UFC White House? Dana White holds out on card details
Dana White’s response to a question about Conor McGregor headlining the UFC White House card was more of a tease than a confirmation. The former two-weight champion has made his interest clear, but signs point to him not being involved.
“It doesn’t look like it’s gonna be Conor on the White House card,” Ariel Helwani said last week.
He went on to explain: “They have an International Fight Week card scheduled for July 11 in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena. There’s a greater chance of him fighting on that card than on the White House card because there is no money to be made.”
Helwani also mentioned ongoing discussions about Jon Jones potentially facing Alex Pereira. And Charles Oliveira added another layer by hinting at “something bigger” when asked if Pereira would meet Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight title.
The speculation won’t last much longer though. Dana White is expected to announce the full lineup in just a few days, finally putting an end to all the rumours.
