Wolves caretaker boss Steve Davis insists defeat at Crystal Palace was undeserved.
Wolves lost 2-1, with Wilfried Zaha scoring Palace's winner.
Davis said, “The first half was excellent. The plan was good. We deserved to go in 1-0 up, maybe 2-0 if the free-kick had gone in. That was a key moment.
“We didn't start the first 15 minutes of the second half well and paid the price. We kept going, showed some spirit and quality, had some opportunities. We took some risks. I can't fault the effort the players put in. We were excellent for large chunks of the game.
“I thought we deserved a point. We took the game to them. The first 15 minutes of the second half was key and we didn't get that right.
“We'd been talking about him [Adama Traore] getting to the back post. He's doing that now. It [the goal] was the best move of the game for us. Excellent goal. It could have been different if we stated the second half different.
"Hugo [Bueno] had a fantastic debut. He was excellent. He came as a kid from Spain as a 10 and we converted him to wing-back. Full-back today. Rayan [Ait-Nouri] was ill so we made a late situation change. He didn't let anyone down."
On whether he knows what his future is, Davis added: “Not really. We'll be back in Thursday and see what happens then.
"It's been brilliant. For me personally it's been a short journey but an exceptionally enjoyable one. We've tried to lift the spirits and get the players on our side. I think they're on the right road. I see some good signs. Hopefully they can show that next week if I'm still in charge."
