The Kota Kinabalu City Hall (DBKK) has issued 207 notices to Short-Term Rental Accommodation (STRA) operators in the city for operating without a valid license.

The notices were part of a special operation conducted between April 16 and 30 targeting operators in commercial buildings throughout the city center.

DBKK inspected 319 premises, including hotels and lodging houses, and identified those violating the 1966 City of Kota Kinabalu (Hotel and Lodging House) Local Act.
