MANILA, Philippines —The Department of Budget and Management has proposed a national budget of P7.2 trillion for 2027.
The National Expenditure Program (NEP), submitted to President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., aims to focus on people-centered growth, Malacañang said on Monday.
Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro said in a press briefing that the NEP will be submitted to the House of Representatives on August 11.
“It aims to make every peso of public funds more beneficial through better services and more opportunities for Filipinos,” Castro said in Filipino.
