The Delhi Development Authority’s mega e-auction of 142 land and property assets fetched bids worth Rs 1,321.21 crore against a cumulative reserve price of Rs 480.38 crore, generating a premium of nearly 175 per cent over the reserve value, officials said on Wednesday.

The auction, conducted through DDA’s online platform, included residential, commercial, industrial and institutional plots, group housing sites, built-up commercial shops, multilevel parking facilities and kiosks located across the Capital.

According to the DDA, the auction attracted strong participation from investors, institutions and businesses, with the final bid value amounting to nearly three times the aggregate reserve price.

Properties in Karkardooma witnessed particularly strong demand. A commercial plot in Pocket 21-22 attracted 36 bidders and fetched more than 10 times its reserve price. An institutional plot identified as Plot No. 3A emerged as the most actively contested property, drawing 20 bidders and recording 3,160 bids during the auction process.

The DDA said the e-auction was conducted through a transparent and technology-enabled system aimed at ensuring fair competition and efficient price discovery. The authority also provided helpdesk support to prospective bidders during the process.
