Government To Bear RM20.11 Million In Costs

The government expects to pay RM20.11 million in compensation to participating highway concessionaires, subject to verification of actual traffic data. The initiative is intended to ease travel expenses during the Deepavali celebrations.
Before setting off, motorists can visit the official PLUS website for highway and journey-planning information, or check LLM's highway CCTV feeds for traffic conditions along supported highways.
KKR also reminded drivers to ensure sufficient Touch 'n Go card or eWallet balance, observe speed limits, maintain a safe following distance and take adequate breaks on longer journeys.
