Delhi Police Special Commissioner (Operations) David Lalrinsanga flagged off 32 newly inducted Police Control Room (PCR) Mobile Patrol Vehicles (MPVs) to provide faster and more effective assistance to citizens in need or distress.

The PCR MPVs have been allocated to the South, South West, West, Rohini, Outer, Outer North, North, North East, Shahdara, East, South East and Central districts to improve police mobility, widen area coverage, and enhance the visibility and responsiveness of PCR units. The vehicles have been inducted to reduce police response time, particularly in areas with a high volume of PCR calls, and strengthen the overall functioning of the PCR Unit.
