
The school in collaboration with the Chandigarh Traffic Police and SIP Academy, organised a special Road Safety Awareness Session for students of Grade VII. The session was conducted to mark National Road Safety and World Red Cross Day, emphasising the theme “Safety First, Always”. The session was conducted by the Chandigarh Traffic Police team comprising Sr Constable Naveen, Constable Prashant and L/C Rajesh. They explained traffic signals, zebra crossing rules, and the importance of wearing helmets and seatbelts through live demonstrations. Students actively participated in a brainstorming question-and-answer session on safe cycling, dangers of underage driving, and pedestrian safety. The team also demonstrated hand signals used by traffic police personnel and the correct helmet-wearing technique. All students took a road safety pledge to follow traffic rules and spread awareness among family and friends. Students from grades II to V also participated in a colouring contest organised by SIP Academy. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Officiating Principal Pawan Singh.
