Delhi Public School, Khanna, unveiled its Student Council for the academic session 2026-27 during an Investiture Ceremony. Rahul Sur, IPS (retd), Internal Oversight Officer with the United Nations, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In the Senior Student Council, Mannat Kaur and Man Inderpreet Singh were appointed Head Girl and Head Boy, respectively, while Agamnoor Kaur and Parth Gupta assumed the roles of Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy. Brahamjot Kaur was appointed Sports Captain. House Captain were entrusted to Aarchi Goyal (Falcons), Harkirat Kaur (Panthers), Ishmeen Kaur (Stallions) and Dilshanpreet Kaur (Tuskers). A team of prefects was also appointed. In the Junior Council, Aishleen Kaur Dhanoa and Kiyansh Gupta were appointed Head Girl and Head Boy, respectively. Keerat Khanna and Krishnav Gupta were selected as Deputy Head Girl and Deputy Head Boy. Ravya Bhatia and Aviraj Singh Nagra were appointed Sports Captains. House Captain positions were assigned to Pragunn Jarhia (Falcons), Arnav Kaushik (Panthers), Naira (Stallions) and Aura Goyal (Tuskers), supported by a dedicated team of prefects. Sur emphasised the importance of lifelong learning, wise decision-making, good health, financial responsibility and active citizenship. He encouraged the newly elected leaders to serve as role models and uphold the values of sincerity, discipline and cooperation. Chairman DS Bains described the occasion as a “red-letter day" and highlighted the rigorous selection process based on excellence in academics, sports, arts and co-curricular activities. The ceremony concluded with a high tea and a sense of pride among the newly appointed office-bearers.
