Delhi minister Ravinder Indraj Singh on Wednesday inaugurated road and drain construction works in Shahbad Dairy’s C-Block, Sunheri Chowk and Lala School Road areas in Bawana, saying the government was prioritising civic infrastructure and drainage improvements in the locality.
The projects are being undertaken under the Chief Minister Development Fund (CMDF), with the aim of strengthening basic civic amenities and improving infrastructure facilities for residents, officials said.
Addressing local residents and social workers during the inauguration programme, Singh said roads and drains in Shahbad Dairy had remained in poor condition for years, causing inconvenience to people in the area.
He said development works across the Bawana Assembly constituency were being taken up on priority and efforts were underway to provide a permanent solution to drainage-related problems./“Balanced development of Shahbad Dairy will be ensured and all development works, including water pipelines, will be undertaken on a priority basis,” the minister said.
