Demand for accommodation in Miami has surged ahead of the England v Norway World Cup match on Saturday.
After beating Mexico 3-2 in the round of 16, the England squad is preparing to play at the Miami Stadium in Florida.
Thousands of fans will be making the journey to support the team, despite ticket prices for the match reaching £6 million, according to The Telegraph.
Booking.com said that searches by UK travellers between 4 and 7 July for stays between 10 to 12 July are up 403 per cent.
Meanwhile, demand for short-term rentals in Miami is up 15 per cent year on year ahead of the quarter finals, according to data firm AirDNA.
However, demand is slightly higher in Kansas City, with a 25 per cent year-on-year rise in short-term rentals, as Switzerland takes on Argentina on the same night, 11 July.
Fans from Norway are also bumping up the demand for travel to Miami ahead of the quarter-final match, as extra flights have been added from Oslo to Miami.
Low-cost airline Norse Atlantic said its first direct flight from Oslo to Miami sold out almost immediately after Norway qualified for the quarter finals.
The airline announced it had secured capacity for a second direct service from the Norwegian capital to Miami ahead of Saturday.
The second direct flight departs Oslo on Friday evening and returns from Miami on Sunday evening.
Sir Keir Starmer has hinted that an England World Cup win could mean an extra bank holiday, hailing Monday’s win over Mexico as “one of the best England performances I’ve ever seen”.
Asked whether he would back a bank holiday if England managed to win the tournament, the Prime Minister told reporters at Wednesday’s Nato conference: “I don’t want to jinx it, but ask me again if we get to the final.”
