Denise Welch has revealed why she became emotional after her making her festival debut on Saturday (30 May).
The presenter shocked fans when she came out on stage at Mighty Hoopla festival in London as a surprise act, singing a rendition of “It’s Raining Men”.
Discussing her performance on Loose Women on Monday (1 June), the 68-year-old said she became emotional after her speech on the LGBTQ+ community drew huge cheers from the audience.
“ The crowd just made me cry, because it's a community that has embraced us.
“It was very special to be involved in it, and I had an absolute hoot,” she said.
