Kota Kinabalu: Sabah Umno Election Director, Jeffery Nor Mohamed, said any development plan that involves the State’s progress and creation of jobs should not take years to process.

He was referring to the announcement of the e-steel project in 2022 whereby the first phase was to commence in the fourth quarter of 2023 and completed this year.

Jeffery questioned the rationale behind the lengthy approval process for the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) report and delays in its completion.
