Kota Kinabalu: Sabah will host the National Farmers, Breeders and Fishermen’s Day (HPPNK) 2025, which is expected to take place in August.

Agriculture and Food Security Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Sabu said Sabah was chosen as the host after 30 years as the event was last held in the State in 1995.

“Sabah was chosen as the host because the last time it hosted HPPNK was 30 years ago. Moreover, Sabah is suitable for future agricultural development. “We will also carry out promotional activities for HPPNK, such as a road tour in July,” he said to the media after paying a courtesy call on Head of State Tun Musa Aman, Monday.
