Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has rapped Freddie Ljungberg for failing to don a club suit for Arsenal's 2-2 draw with Norwich City on Sunday.

The Swede, appointed in the wake of Unai Emery's sacking on Friday, started life as Arsenal boss with a 2-2 draw at Carrow Road.

Ljungberg wore a grey jumper and blue open-neck shirt with the club jacket on top.

And Scholes, a former rival of Ljungberg's at Manchester United, claims that his choice not to wear a suit at Carrow Road shows he won't be the "right man" for the job.

Scholes told Premier League Productions: "You would think he'd be out in a suit to show a bit of proudness that he took the job.

"To me that's a great start - shirt and tie to show some discipline.

"I don't think he'll be the right man."
