Diesel in peninsula up 4 sen from Feb 5-11

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 4 - Diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will be four sen more expensive at RM2.96 per litre, while prices in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan will remain at RM2.15 per litre, from tomorrow to February 11.

In a statement today, the Finance Ministry said RON97 and RON95 will remain at RM3.10 and RM2.54 per litre, respectively, in the same period.

Meanwhile, subsidised RON95 under BUDI95 will remain at RM1.99 per litre.

“The government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends, and take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s welfare and well-being,” the ministry said.
