
Kota Kinabalu: The charred remains of a disabled woman was found after a fire that razed 12 houses in Kg Kalansanan, Inanam, at about 11pm, Thursday.
The victim, identified as Idam Hamid, in her 50s, is said to have been a paraplegic.
A 16-year-old girl and two men, 20 and 22, suffered burns while a 23-year-old woman fainted during the incident.
The Sabah Fire and Rescue Department (FRD) Operations Centre said a total of 43 officers and personnel comprising three district stations were mobilised.

“The situation was brought under control at 1.16am and ended at 4.50am,” a spokesperson said, Friday.
