Djurgarden sports chief Bosse Andersson says the speculation around Lucas Bergvall has reached hysterical levels.
The teenage midfielder is expected to sign for Barcelona, though Spurs have been linked today.
"It is clear that it is a pressure that affects us all, both the player and Djurgrden as a club," Andersson told FotbollDirekt.
"It is a frenzy and speculation that has escalated beyond control and you want to remind everyone of the young guy this is about and needs more consideration.
"It is clear that he lives under a lot of pressure, but at the same time I have to say how professionally both he and his family handle the situation.
"But at the same time, we are no more than human beings and it is impossible not to be affected by what is going on and has been for so long."
