The Daily Star says Chelsea won't be rushed into selling Zouma with Lampard keen to take a look at the Frenchman in action before making a decision on his future.
Everton are keen to re-sign the Frenchman after his successful loan at Goodison Park last season.
But having been part of the squad that jetted off to Ireland for pre-season training on Friday, Chelsea will give the defender the chance to impress this summer.
For his part, Zouma is open to a return to Everton next season.
