The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) on Thursday announced that 4,000 job opportunities are open in the upcoming Mega Jobs Fair for Overseas Employment on Independence Day.
In a Facebook post, the event will take place at the Robinsons Galleria Atrium in Ortigas, Quezon City.
According to the DMW, the fair will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., where job seekers can apply to at least 13 licensed recruitment agencies, along with land-based at manning agencies that offer safe and legitimate jobs in different countries.
“The job fair is open not only to Filipinos seeking opportunities abroad, but also to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who have been affected and repatriated because of the current crisis in the Middle East,” the DMW said in Filipino.
Among the countries available in the job fair are the United States, Canada, Guam, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Croatia, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Taiwan, Brunei, Madagascar, Vanuatu, and Papua New Guinea.
“The DMW encourages all interested Filipinos to take advantage of this opportunity to find safe, legal, and quality employment abroad through licensed and registered recruitment agencies,” the agency said.
